Tourism
Perú, is a country full of tourist possibilities, in which we say that "if someone stumbles upon a stone,
an archeological site will jump right out". Owner of various enigmas that amazes and astonishes the
world, it is a country full of history and of great cultural richness, likewise, the Andes create
three very different natural regions, each one of them with absolutely distinct climates, in which the
pilots or tourists, will not only see landscapes that go from the aridness of the deserts that
go along all of the Peruvian Coast, passing by the Sierra full of snow-covered mountains and deep canyons
at great altitudes, but also the Amazon jungle where you'll find, a world full of excitement and life.
Flight
In our land, we are able to realize every type of flights with Hanggliders or Paragliders, passing by
great variety of landscapes and conditions, radically distinct from one another. It is not our intention
to do here a complete catalog of the zones, since there are so many, therefore we will reer
to those, in which the flying conditions unite, with the most known tourist areas, to thus basically
guide those pilots, whom desire to venture to fly with us.
We Peruvians, are real experts in the dynamic and thermodynamic flights, it is
completely normal to see pilots realizing wing overs from over 90 to 10 mts. from the floor or
doing grazing spirals in the hillside.
The handling in us is something very special, anyone can have more than 500 hrs. of flight.
The motive is that we live in Lima and the takeoffs are generally, 5 minutes away from home.
As completely thermal pilots, we leave a lot to desire, even though there are very good exceptions
of pilots that continually travel to the sierra, or those few that live in it, 95% of pilots in
our country are from Lima, always willing to share and point out anything to those visitors of our
"Parapuerto de Miraflores" (Miraflores Paraport), situated at the "Parque del Amor" (Love Park) in Malecón
Cisneros, which is the most beautiful and touristic landscape in Lima.
Travel Tips
Used to receiving continually visitors from all nationalities and social and economic groups,
they will always find adequate services to fit their needs and possibilities. In all the prices
of these, the taxes are already included and it is possible to bargain them down.
The cabs are very economic, with exception of those of airports. The national currency is the Sol
and the Dollars are very well accepted in any place. Our Homeland has advanced notoriously in the
last years specially in the security and the economy, being the unrestrained violence a bad memory from the past.
