Republic

| Paracas is a natural dessert reserve,
located in the Peruvian coast at 230 Km.
south of the city of Lima, is the
area where most marine wild life is found in the
pacific coast of the continent, counting with very
interesting tourist and cultural locations,
their antique settlers "The Paracas Culture" predecessors of the
Incas, were great experts in the matter of
fabrics and cranial surgery.
Now a days we preserve many highly interesting remainders of this culture, existing a site museum in where fabrics of over 3000 years are exposed and the famous " Funeral fardos " that contain the intact mummies, and the marvelous fabrics that wrap them. The natural life gets together in an impressive marine fauna which you are able to be visit and experiment it from up close by visiting the Ballestas Islands, ecological sanctuary in which the sea lions, and the penguins are the attention center of the visitors. |
| The flight is of an absolutely
dynamic type, beginning the flights at
9 AM. with winds of 15 Kph. and
as the day advances, it will
progressively increase until the afternoon we have winds
that will go faster than 50 Kph. This zone
of flight has an access and a takeoff of unequal
kind being the hillside of 15 mts. of height to
50 Mts.; flying above the marine reefs, among them
one of the most beautiful that
exists where there is a rocky formation
in the shape of a cavern called the
"Cathedral". The winds are absolutely '''laminar'''
and turbulence free, allowing from the recently
initiated pilot up to the more
advanced pilots to enjoy
themselves and search for places in that the hillside maneuvers are a delight and offers good margins of safety. Now in the afternoon when the winds have increased, the experienced Paragliding pilot can continue flying, these are up to 1 mt. close to he ground flights, above the shore by using the gradient effect that this hillside generates while the Hanggliders will be enjoying the virtues |

| of their own speed, having very secure landings even though the winds are strong (only for experts). The nocturnal flights in full moon nights are an unforgettable experience being able to do them here or in a small plateau located at 1.5 km. of these, having about 240 mts. of gradient and 4x4 access. |
| There are hotels in the area with a
price range from US$ 12 to $50, the islands Tours
and the reserve take a day, with an approximate cost
of US$ 20.
The Voyage in bus from Lima lasts nearly three hours and you are able to do a complete visit in two or three days. |
